So Spills said to me this week, "Mommy, I've decided what I want to go to University for."
"Oh yes? What is it?"
"To learn how to hold plates properly."

- I am a full time teacher and full time mom who continues to try to prove that it really is possible to combine the jobs of two complete people into one gloriously easy gig. When I have figured out how to do that, I will let you know. My daughter's nickname, Spilly, came about as the result of her unfortunate regurgitative tendencies when she was an infant. Thankfully she spills less now (but is far more creative in the liquids that she spills).

I must say that holding plates properly is a skill that I sadly lack - and it sure would come in handy these days!
Too many of my plates have come to a sad end....I'm hoping my daughter will break the cycle (as opposed to the plate). :)
